Valentina (Five Houses Castrella 2)

Sire:  Valentino (Vernons Vineyard x Feldhof's Madeira) - Dutch New Forest
Dam:  Melle Veronika (Priory Prickle x Melle Monika) - Dutch New Forest
Foaled:  2000, Netherlands
dressage ring, now competing at second level and schooling third.  This lovely
daughter of Val's, named Forrest Gund, or Figi,  is trained and offered for sale by
Trevelyan Farm (
www.trevelyan.com).  Definitely a pony on her way to the top!  Val is a
top-of-the-line large and throws large, scopey ponies with beautiful movement and
conformation.  Enough so for her first daughter to be retained as a broodmare :)
Valentina is a stunning bay New
Forest mare that was imported
from the Netherlands as a
youngster.  Entered into the ISR/
Oldenburg Main Mare Book at 3
years of age, Val has been a
valued addition to the breeding
program at Stonefield.  Her first
foal, SFF Fortune's Inara went
premium as a foal at her ISR/Old
inspections, and repeated that
premium as a mare, entered into
the ISR/Old Premium Mare Book.
Val's second foal, a repeat
breeding to Forrest Flame, is
currently turning heads in the
SFF Fortune's Inara

Sire:  Forrest Flame aka Jacodi's Anja's Amoz (Carlo x Anja) - Dutch New Forest

Oozing with personality, Inara
made sure she kept the true New
Forest personality shining
through, just enough to keep
pace with her incredible
athleticism and movement.  A
premium foal at her ISR/Old
inspections at a mere 7 weeks
old, she learned early that she
loved the spotlight and her
growing fan club.  Having won
GCH M&M on two out of three
outings, Inara is showing she
has what it takes to win in-hand.
Presented in 2010 to the ISR/Old
inspection jury for approval as a
broodmare, she impressed once again, earning 106 points and entry into the
Premium Mare Book.  Standing at 14.1
1/2 hands, Inara is a solid mare with good
bone and substance; she is a big-moving mare, with great power and stride.  Now
schooling lower-level dressage, Inara is gearing up for a few more shows, after
which the anticipation of a foal will be too much and she'll join the breeding program.

SFF Courting Temptation

Sire:  Wicked Courtjester (Oleander x Wicked Vinnie Baby) - Dutch New Forest
Dam:  A Healthy Treat (Valiant Lark x Brazen Fancy) - US Thoroughbred
Foaled:  2005, US
A pretty, pretty mare and she
knows it!  Tempe is a classically
refined first-cross New Forest
mare, coming from proven
performance lines.  Her sire,
Wicked Courtjester, is known for
producing typey performance
ponies, stamping them with his
beautiful head, strong toplines
and uphill movement.  Her dam
hails from the performance world
of TB Stakes winners.  The cross
has produced a lovely moving,
athletic mare, well suited for
dressage and jumping.  Incredibly
smart and quick to learn, Tempe will undoubtedly enjoy bringing up youngsters of her
own.  She's been lightly shown in-hand, as a part-bred New Forest, where she's won
her classes.  Standing a little over pony height at 15.1 hands, Tempe was approved
into the ISR/Oldenburg Main Mare Book with a very respectable 102 points and will
join the breeding program at Stonefield, for large sportponies/small sporthorses.

Anotha Toughcookie

Sire:  Native Regent (Vice Regent x Barkerville Belle) - Canadian Thoroughbred
Dam:  Virgie's Dream (Salem x Ms Jonnie R) - US Thoroughbred
Foaled:  2005, US
A life-long fan of the
Thoroughbred athleticism and
heart, they remain an integral part
of the breeding program at
Stonefield.  Anotha Toughcookie,
or Elsie, is the latest to join the
herd, and one that much
excitement surrounds.  A well-built
16.1 hands, she is a lovely mover
who uses herself well.  And it
doesn't stop with good looks for
this flashy chestnut, she's very
smart, sweet and easy to work
with.  She's transitioned well into
her after-track life, and is fully
enjoying pasture time and training in lower level dressage.  After she gains more
conditioning, she will be presented to the ISR/Oldenburg NA for Mare Book approval.
With her unique bloodlines, integrating several TBs from France and Great Britain
and touting Northern Dancer as her grandsire on her sire's side and Cyane by
Turn-To as her grandsire on her dam's side, she will bring strong performance lines
with her into the breeding program.  There is a lot of potential with this mare, can't
wait to see what she produces!

Willoway Alice

Sire:  Peveril Peter Piper (Queenswood Solomon x Peveril Candy Phloss) - British New Forest
Dam:  Ashfield Patricia (Ashfield Ace x Ashfield Bunty) - British New Forest
Foaled:  1996, UK
One of Stonefield's foundation broodmares,
Alice is now in pseudo-retirement.  Daughter
of one of Britain's leading sires, Alice has
passed on tremendous performance,
personality and pedigree to her offspring,
who are now competing in everything from
dressage to driving, jumping to trails and her
last is off to stand stud in Canada.  Her
sweet nature came through in all of them
and we wish their new owners nothing but
happiness & success with them in the future!
