Luckington Legacy is a legacy in and of his own right. After having shown and won
in-hand as a yearling in England, he was imported to Canada, where he sired lovely
offspring in British Columbia and Alberta. Arriving in the states in the spring of 2005,
we're delighted to have him on the farm and his bloodlines in the east. Half brother to
Luckington Sportaide and Wayland Cranberry who have had tremendous showing and
breeding careers in England, Legacy exhibits the same quality and pre-potency for
correctness and temperament as his siblings.

A beautiful head, neck and topline define Legacy's classic New Forest style, with correct
movement and plenty of push from behind. Quiet enough for even children to work
around, Legacy enjoys both work and play - traits passed on to his offspring.
Having started back with some showing, Legacy is holding his own against the horses
in the dressage ring, receiving scores in the 70's at Training Level, and even winning
high-point honors with an incredible 77.27%! He's also started with some small hunter
paces and cross-country - his manners have been impeccable, and we're finding he
likes to get out quite a bit!
With a little downtime from showing, Legacy put his first "SFF" foal - SFF Luck Be A Lady
- out of Willoway Alice on the ground in 2008. Just like her sire, she is turning out to be
quite a lovely New Forest Pony, expressing all of their true characteristics. Wonderful
(and easy!) to work around, she's up for just about anything. A cute mover, with a lovely
topline, nice shoulder, beautiful head and sweet expression, she's just what we were
hoping for!
Legacy is currently available for breeding at a rate of $750, inclusive of a $250 booking
fee, LFG. AI collection and shipping fees are billed through at direct cost.
